There’s a Stanford reunion taking place in Indianapolis. Pep Hamilton will be rejoining his former football pupils Andrew Luck and Coby Fleener on the Colts, who named the Stanford OC to the same position on Friday.
Parks and Rec star Jim Irsay hinted about the hiring earlier in the day on Twitter:
COLTS O. could have some pep to it this fall.

Hamilton comes to Indy replacing Bruce Arians, who took the Arizona Cardinals head coaching position on Thursday. At Stanford, Hamilton was Luck and Fleener’s OC for their final year in 2011. During that season Stanford averaged a school-record 43.15 points per game. The season before Hamilton was the team’s wide receivers coach. He was promoted to OC when David Shaw became the Cardinal head coach.
And then there’s this:
Pep Hamilton’s official title at Stanford was the “Andrew Luck Director of Offense.” WIll Colts let him keep it?
