For the second game in a row, Stephen Curry came up big as the Warriors bested one of the league’s top dogs. On Monday it was against the Clippers. Wednesday night, helped by a huge third quarter, it was the league-leading Thunder.
Curry (31 points, 7 assists) had 13 points in the third, highlighted by this sweet floater that led to a three-point play and extended the Warriors’ lead. Curry reacted with a shimmy shake, just like his coach Mark Jackson used to do back in the day:
Curry couldn’t shimmy about everything in the game. He shot a dreadful 3-of-14 from deep and scored only four points in the fourth. But, hey, a win is a win. And an all-star game invitation might be coming for him on Thursday, too.
