The Raiders on Tuesday added another candidate for their offensive tackle corps by signing veteran Alex Barron.
Barron brings versatility to the Raiders with his ability to play on both the left and right side of the line.
Barron, a former 19th overall selection by the Rams in 2005, last played in the NFL in 2010 when he was with the Cowboys. In 2011, with the Saints, he missed the season due to injury. The Seahawks cut him in training camp last year. He has been a starter in 75 of the 87 games for which he has appeared in.
