The A’s on Wednesday placed Coco Crisp and Brett Anderson on the 15-day disabled list.
Both Crisp and Anderson left Monday’s marathon game with injuries. Crisp with a strained hamstring, while Anderson’s sprained ankle from April 19 was still bothering him as he pitched in extra innings.
Crisp leads the the team in runs, extra base hits and homers. Anderson, the team’s opening day starter, is playing below expectations with a 1-4 record and a 6.21 ERA in six games.
In response to the DL moves, the A’s called up pitcher Dan Straily and catcher Luke Montz from Triple-A.
