Stephen Curry’s ankle ‘ready to go’ for Game 5

Stephen Curry ankle watch day 5,963 brings good news for the Warriors.

The breakout star of these playoffs, Curry told reporters on Tuesday that the condition of his sprained ankle is much improved from when he was clearly limited by it throughout Game 4 on Sunday.

“Ready to go tonight,” Curry said. “It feels a whole lot better than it did before Game 4, so that’s all I could ask for.”

Curry did reportedly show a slight limp at Tuesday morning shootaround, indicated he’s still nowhere near 100 percent, but Curry reassured reporters he’s healthy enough to play:

“I think it’s in good enough shape to … be able to put a little bit of pounding on it,” Curry said of his ankle.

Curry also added that another anti-inflammatory injection on the ankle, as he needed before Game 4, the third injection he’s received for the ankle this postseason, won’t be necessary.

Now if only he can get the shot that makes Jarrett Jack pass him the ball.
