Logan Couture ‘all good’ to play for Sharks in Game 4 vs. Kings

Logan Couture said he is “all good” to play in Game 4 Tuesday night against the Kings. Couture, who has developed into the Sharks’ primary offensive threat, was gone for most of the second period in Game 3 Saturday with a leg injury, leaving many Sharks fans in the Tank awaiting in their seats with soiled pants. Couture, of course, returned and went on to score the game-winner in overtime, causing Jonathan Quick to react like somebody stole his Pizza Rolls.

Here’s more from David Pollak:

With two days off between games, players had a little extra time to get over their “bumps and bruises.”

“It helped me and I’m sure it helped some other guys as well — their team and our team,” Couture said. “Rest is big, especially this time of the year.”

Sharks Coach Todd McLellan said Couture could have skated Monday, but “it made no sense to put him on the ice. He looked good this morning and he’s excited about playing. I don’t think it’s an issue or factor at all.”
