12 things to remember about Jason Kidd’s career

Jason Kidd retired on Monday after 19 seasons. He’s an NBA champion, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, a 10-time all-star, a future hall of famer and, of course, a local product. He’ll go down as one of the greatest all-around point guards to ever play the game. But on this day Kidd says farewell to basketball, here is a list of the things I’ll most remember about his career:

1. Oakland raised
2. The bitter love triangle he allegedly had with Jim Jackson and Toni Braxton during his first stint in Dallas
3. His son’s giant-ass head
4. Hair bleach
5. Headband problems
6. This photo
7. Rebounds
8. Rebounds
9. Taking a team with a starting lineup that included Kerry Kittles, Keith Van Horn and Todd McCullogh to the NBA Finals
10. Having a hall-of-fame career without a jumpshot
11. All the triple doubles (107 to be exact, third all-time)
12. Being one of the top 10 point guards ever
