Dennis Allen has spoken. Or so says Vic Tafur:
The Chronicle has learned Terrelle Pryor is starting at quarterback for #Raiders Sunday, per couple of league sources. Not a big surprise.

And so let the Terrelle Pryor era begin this Sunday in Indy.
Pryor didn’t play particularly well as the starter in Thursday’s preseason finale, after having his best game as a pro in relief against the Bears the week before. But he didn’t back down from the challenge and still showed some bright spots.
He most likely won this job because in part his legs give the offense another dimension. Let’s also not forget Thursday was just his second career start. There’s still room to grow. His ceiling is higher than Matt Flynn’s right now.
As for Flynn, wow. The job was his for the taking and he blew it with a pedestrian effort. Again. It’s now two years in a row he’s going down this road. Two years of being brought in to be a starting quarterback. Two years of coaches telling him, “LOL, JK NVM. We’re going with the younger, more mobile guy.”
It’s got to feel miserable. Maybe buy him a drink if you ever see him.
