Warriors will be wearing white t-shirt jerseys as alternates this year

Our national nightmare continues. From the Warriors:

The Golden State Warriors will wear white short-sleeve alternate uniforms, created by adidas, for every Saturday home game during the 2013-14 season, beginning Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at Oracle Arena when the team takes on the Sacramento Kings.

Here are all the Saturday home games this season:

November 2, 2013 vs. the Sacramento Kings
November 16, 2013 vs. the Utah Jazz
November 23, 2013 vs. the Portland Trail Blazers
December 21, 2013 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers
February 22, 2014 vs. the Brooklyn Nets
March 22, 2014 vs. the San Antonio Spurs

So, maybe listen to the game on the radio those dates.

That’s the jersey up at the top. Here’s a photo of Harrison Barnes wearing an actual one. They’re basically the regular home jerseys except they look like somebody has sewn a white tee into them. Still no idea whether the jersey shirts will actually be the same color as the shorts this time. You think that would be a no-brainer. But then last year’s jersey shirts were a different shade of yellow than the shorts, adding yet another comedic element to that look.

The team’s press release also really wants to to know these are the lightest jerseys the team has ever worn. The jerseys also have “maximum ventilation” and stretch fabric and blah blah blah. Nobody cares. The jerseys have sleeves and should be used for little kids to blow their noses into. That’s all you need to know.

It’s still not clear if the horrendous infamous yellow jersey shirts will remain in the alternate jersey rotation or if these new white ones will be replacing them.
